DUBAI: The UAE Minister For Tolerance, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Chairman ARY Group, Haji Mohammad Iqbal for his social welfare services, during a ceremony in Dubai, ARY News reported Tuesday.
The award was given during an annual gala dinner of the Pakistani Executives Organization for Promotion of Leadership & Entrepreneurship (PEOPLE) to mark the Day of Tolerance. The UAE Minister for Tolerance H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Mubarak Al Nahyan, on his arrival at the ceremony, was received by Founder and President of ARY Digital Network, Mr. Salman Iqbal.
Mr. Haji Mohammad Iqbal was honoured with the coveted award for his decades-long social welfare services. Members ARY Family were also present on the occasion. Later, the chairman of Galadari Group, Suhail Galadari, was given the Leadership in Media Award.
Speaking on the occasion, Kashif Khan, founder and president of PEOPLE, said that the event was held to acknowledge leaders and entrepreneurs who are not only visionaries but also executed something meaningful. “We have also taken initiative to empower blue-collar workers and create opportunities for young entrepreneurs.
The time has come to convert Pakistan’s challenges into opportunities as it enters into a revolutionary phase with better governance, accountability and patronage,” he added.
