SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that efforts were on to steer the country out of crises, ARY News reported.
“The coming days will bring change in the lives of the people. The government is making sincere efforts for steering the country out of crises and people would observe a visible change in near future,” Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said while addressing a public gathering in Sialkot. She said that democratic process was the only way out to get rid of social, political and economic complications.
Talking to media, she said that front men of some political parties were trying to mislead people for their vested interests, but they would fail as people had become politically aware because of the PTI struggle in the past years.
In fact, the hue and cry being raised by some political parties was aimed at diverting the public attention from massive corruption of their party leaders, she added.

The special assistant to PM said that former rulers protected corruption just for prolonging their tenure and ruined the national economy. The incumbent government was taking drastic steps for solving problems being faced by people, added Firdous Awan.
She called upon people to support Prime Minister Imran Khan for bringing about economic stability and purging the country of the menace of corruption. She said that masses were facing the brunt of massive corruption committed by the previous rulers.
The special assistant said that the government was taking special steps for solving problems of farmers.
Earlier, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan was accorded warm welcome on her arrival at Sambrial, Ugoki and Sialkot.
