KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Saeed Ghani remarked on Friday that it is an obligation for the Sindh government to own Karachi, ARY News reported.
Speaking to media, the provincial minister of local bodies said, “I have the ministry of entire Sindh, but owning Karachi is our compulsion,” adding that, “We have no choice as to leave Karachi.”
Talking about the development of the metropolis, he said if institutions work under their specified jurisdictions then Karachi will develop at a fast pace.
Ghani criticized the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for its humiliating attitude towards politicians.
He said all of the government officers would acknowledge that “I never ask them for any wrongdoing,” but at least, some time should be given to fix issues, Ghani requested.
