The crowd has been spellbound to their team and want to see Kings roaring in the final and lifting the coveted trophy of the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
ARY Sports tried to reach some of the fans who were lined up in front of Stadium’s gate and asked them about which team they are going to support. There were mixed reactions but the majority of the spectators said that they live in Karachi hence they only support Karachi Kings.
Hamza, 11-years-old boy, who was wearing Karachi Kings’ shirt, while talking to the ARY Sports chanted the slogan of ‘Karachi Zindabad’ and is confident that the men in blue will overcome Islamabad United easily in the first eliminator of this year’s PSL.
“I love Colin Ingram and he will amuse us with sixes and fours today,” said Hamza who also plays cricket and wants to become a cricketer.
Sameer Sultan, a CA student also came to support the home team at refurbished National Stadium and wants to see the blue army lifting the trophy. “I have been trying to get the tickets for long and finally I am here to witness the historic event in the cricketing history of Pakistan,” said Sameer.
