“There are places up for grab in the national team and the doors are open for those who will prove their strength in the National T20 Cup,” said Sarfraz who will be leading the Sindh team in a 12-day tournament slated to start from October 13 in Faisalabad.
Sarfraz said that the chief selector and he himself will be watching the players closely during the tournament. “I think all eyes are on this tournament which is going to be important for every one of us. The performers will definitely get a chance to tour Australia with the national T20I team,” he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan is to tour Australia in November to play three T20I matches and two Tests. The team for T20Is will be announced after the first phase of the National T20 Cup.
