As the first episode of the final season of Game of Thrones was aired this week, Norwegian police ensured that the army of the dead doesn’t harm any of the TV series’ characters so they arrested their leader.

The police force in Trondheim city of Norway claimed to have arrested a man dressed as the Night King, supreme leader of the army of the dead in the popular TV series.

The police not only took him into custody but also posted on Facebook, some of his images dressed as the king of white-walkers.

“The police have received many complaints about a man from the northern region involved in criminal activity. Complaints include animal cruelty and property damage (there have been reports of a wall being destroyed), as well as threats to lay vast areas of land desolate,” read the statement issued by the Trondheim police.

“Our night watch has now apprehended the man to deter any further criminal activity on his behalf,” the police statement which used terms from Game of Thrones’ series reads.

For those who don’t know, The Night King is the master and the first of the White Walkers, having existed since the age of the First Men. He is also the supreme leader of the army of the dead.

Among his many capabilities, The Night King can turn a human baby into a White Walker by pressing the tip of his finger to the baby’s cheek, he can also raise corpses as wights. He doesn’t require physical contact to do so, and can raise thousands of wights at a single time just by lifting his arms.
