Chief of Indian political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Raj Thackrey said if National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval is questioned, the truth about the government plot over Pulwama attack will be disclosed, Times Now reported.
Speaking at an event in Kolhapur, he termed Indian soldiers, killed in Pulwama blast, as “political victims” adding that, “The truth will come out if Ajit Doval is put under an inquiry” on the matter.
“Central government is hatching a big conspiracy ahead of the elections so that people forget demonetisation, Rafale and corruption over the last four and half years,” Thackrey lambasted at the Modi government.
The MNS chief said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was shooting for a film at the time of the Pulwama attack. “Even after the news of the terror attack his [Modi’s] shooting continued.”

Reacting to the recent claims of Indian politicians to cut water flowing to Pakistan, Thackeray poked fun saying, “Did the government supplied water to Pakistan through taps? The water distribution is done as per the international treaty involving three countries. Anyone of them can not decide unilaterally. But the government is consistently making such announcements to portray Pakistan as the enemy.”
The Pulwama attack
On 14 February 2019, a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Lethpora in the Pulwama district of India-Ocuupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The attack resulted in the death of more than 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel and the attacker. The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed. A local youth named Adil Ahmed Dar was identified as the attacker.
Indian media and politicians have since been blaming Pakistan for the attack without any evidence.
