QUETTA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday said that he is also the son of a martyr and that he will not sit quietly until provision of justice to the Hazara community.
Expressing his views to the media in Quetta while visiting the families of those killed in the Hazarganji blast last week at Hazara town Imam bargah, Bilawal said it is unfortunate that even after so much blood has flown, the state cannot decide that is it with the martyrs or with the terrorists.
Bilawal said, no one can fight extremism alone but we have to decide for the future. We need to fight this extremist mindset.
When we ask for justice we are labelled as an enemy of the state, Bilawal said and added that, “We failed to implement National Action Plan (NAP).
He said he belongs to a family, who was martyred and will not sit quietly till provision of justice to the bereaved families.
It may be recalled that, at least 20 people were killed and several others injured on Friday in a blast at Quetta’s Hazarganji sabzi mandi.
Earlier, the protesting Hazara community called off their sit-in after assurance from State Minister for Interior, Shehryar Afridi about just into the matter.
